We recommend having a blood pressure cuff and a body weight scale at home. For better reliability, opt for an automatic arm cuff instead of a wrist or finger blood pressure device. If your blood pressure cuff does not measure heart rate, you will also need a device for that, such as a heart rate monitor, fitness tracker, or smartwatch.

Additionally, please ensure you have access to a computer, smartphone, or tablet, along with a stable internet connection, to successfully participate in video visits with your provider.

It is important to stay informed about your condition and follow your treatment plan. Regular follow-ups with your healthcare team will help you stay on track.

We can order the cardiac tests you need and interpret the results as part of your care. Depending on the test, we'll either ship it directly to your home (such as a heart rhythm monitor or sleep study) or send an order to a convenient local imaging center or laboratory. Once your results are available, we'll review them with you, explain what they mean, and discuss next steps during your follow-up visit.

We work with most major insurance carriers. If you would like us to bill your insurance and we are in-network with your plan, we will submit claims directly to your health insurer. You will be responsible for any applicable coinsurance, copays, or deductibles based on your plan's benefits.

If we are not in-network with your insurance, we're happy to provide a patient statement after your visit that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, subject to your out-of-network benefits.
